After much anticipation, the Mint Club finally opens it's doors this weekend after a six week break and a much needed refurb. The place is looking amazing and the Funktion One sound system has been finely tuned, ready for our guests Len Faki, Redshape and Jamie Anderson to open the club in style this Saturday. Mint Club Refurb News!

So the doors of the Mint Club as we know it finally closed on early Sunday morning (after the wicked send off from our friends from Asylum on Saturday night). Soon after the builders were in, dragging up the old dancefloor and ripping out the trademark "bling" disco balls from the cieling.

Over the next six weeks the club will receive a £500,000 refurb including a nice new Funktion One and an amazing lighting system - the first of it's kind in the UK!!

We thought it might be nice to give a photo update on how the club is shaping up over the next few weeks, so here's the first installment ...
